Once you have decided on the Workshop you would like either click on the add to cart button to pay via PayPal (or using your debit or credit card) or contact us confirming the course you would like to book and send a cheque, payable to Collective Films Ltd, to: Room 184, 10 Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3NH. We can also accept cash payments, though these need to be made in advance of the Workshop start date.

All Workshops, except the Master Workshop, start from the first week of each month and run on a rolling Monthly basis so, unusually, you are not tied into a long term commitment with a large upfront fee. Places are limited and we can only confirm places for those who have paid in full. You can reserve a place with an initial deposit (£25 per Workshop) but your place will not be confirmed until full payment is received, in advance of the Workshop.

We always meet with each of you in advance of your chosen Workshop and in the unlikely event that either we decide that you would not be suitable for a Workshop or you feel that it actually isn't going to be suitable for you, then all pre-paid fees and deposits are refundable, subject to a minimum 48 hours notice. Any cancellation made less than 48 hours in advance of the Workshop will forfeit the fee or deposit.

For beginners and less experienced Actors we offer the 'First Step Workshop'.

This concentrates on confidence building, scene work, the concept of acting and reacting and becoming comfortable working with other Actors.
Most Actors then move up to the Intermediate or Advanced Showreel workshops.
Camera is used and Actors have an opportunity to view playbacks of their performances.


Monday Day 1.30-4.30pm or Monday or Tuesday evenings: 6-9pm.

For more experienced Actors, we offer the  'Intermediate & Advanced Workshop'.

This builds from the 'First Step Workshop' and concentrates more on specific screen acting skills, blocking and size of performance. We work the students harder and expect them to arrive on set with fully formed and researched characters.
Camera is used and scenes blocked as if for a shoot. Actors have opportunity to view playbacks of their performances.

Wednesday or Thursday day, 1.30-4.30pm or Wednesday or Thursday evenings: 6-9pm or Saturday afternoons: 2.30-5.30pm.

For younger Actors between the ages of 12 & 17 we offer the 'Young Persons Workshop'.

We use a variety of the techniques from the adult classes and this Workshop caters to all abilities. Camera is used and Actors have opportunity to view playbacks of their performances.

Saturday mornings: 10.30am -1.30pm.

For professional Actors or those who have progressed from one of our Workshops, we offer a 'Showreel Service'.

3 x 1 hour rehearsal sessions followed by a 4 hour shoot. Each Actor will receive a professional DVD with their selected scenes (max 4 minutes) to show casting directors and agents their commercial potential as an Actor for Film & TV.

This Workshop is essential for any Actor wishing to pursue a professional career. It is designed to heighten actors body and spatial awareness and working with others.

Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothes and bring a layer. Please also note, this is not a dance class so all levels are welcome.

Areas covered include - building core strength, walking/moving with direction and purpose, signals and body language, animal work, release, losing your inhibitions, the body in relation to space, physicality, awareness, reacting.

Friday evenings: 5.30-7.30pm.

This Workshop is essential for all jobbing actors. A series of regular casting workshops led by Industry Professionals at our Soho TV Studio. Learn how best to approach a film casting audition, what casting directors are looking for, what to say and what not to say, how to cold read effectively and how to present yourself in the best light as you walk in the room.


Each Casting Director has their own way of running the Workshop so you may see yourself on playback and will definately receive feedback and advice. This is also an excellent opportunity to show them what you can do and make that all important first introduction for their current projects. Max 20 places.
